Where is your perfect customer waiting for you?

A lot of people think they NEED to be on Facebook.

Or Twitter.

Or whatever social media channel they think EVERYONE is on.

But that is not how it works.

You do not need to be on the biggest social media channel.

You need to be on the right one.

Now I would love to be able to tell you this instance what the right one is. Tell you ‘You should be on Instagram’, ‘Everyone that sells anything needs to be on Etsy’

But then I would be the same, telling you which channel EVERYONE should be on.

That is not how it works!

Your target audience

It’s all about finding the people you need. The ones that are right for you. That will buy your product or your service. That fits your description of your ideal customer.

And they are not everywhere. – Oh god, at least I hope not. That would take them all day to keep up with.

They have their preferences.

They might be on Facebook, but they might not use it a lot. It might be that Pinterest is what they use to locate nice Etsy items.

They might use Instagram all the time, but it’s only for personal use. It might be LinkedIn they use to find services that are reviewed by people they know.

And that is why I can not tell you which channels you need to be on.

You can research it, or we can look at it together, but you do have to find out where your target audience is.

Make a list of which one is most promising, which one after that, etc. So you know what you need to put your energy into.
